As soon as the poster of Aayirathil Oruvan 2 was unveiled, Twitterati dug up the similarities between the designs of the Dhanush-Selvaraghavan movie and a French Illustrator's works. An internet search tells us that Mathieu Lauffray is a fairly known comic, concept artist known for his design works on several novels and books, most popularly the Star Wars (Dark Horse) covers.
While there is a whole possibility that he was officially assigned to do the design/ work was bought [Remember how the Stonehenge was green-screened into Aayirathil Oruvan], Twitter couldn't help but feel a tinge of disappointment.

Enna Gopal @selvaraghavan idhellaam.
Hope #MathieuLauffray gets the due design credit for #AO2 poster. Disappointing start for Tamil Cinema by stealing creative work for a magnum opus @dhanushkraja #Selvaraghavan

How about a 2021 resolution for Tamil cinema to respect originality and creativity of other artists! https://t.co/ZWp43FbYQ2
The artwork looks eerily similar to @ArtStationHQ ’s concept Tarzan Art! ;) #MathieuLauffray #AyirathilOruvan2 #CopyArt https://t.co/anhbW00D08
