Thalaivaa Scenes and Dialogues Deleted?

The latest posters have been noted for its inconspicuous absence of the tagline "Time to Lead". There are unconfirmed reports that a number of other shots and dialogues may have also been deleted from the digital and physical prints to be released in Tamil Nadu across 400+ screens. Some of the notable scenes that may have been chopped or muted are,

• Santhanam's dialogue about Vijay being eligible for entry in to politics - ''நம்ம ஊர் அரசியல்ல சேர எல்லாத் தகுதியும் இருக்கு உனக்கு!''

• YG Mahendran's dialogue to Vijay - ''தலைவன்கிறது நாம தேடிப் போற விஷயம் இல்லை; நம்மைத் தேடி வர்ற விஷயம். உன்னை அவங்களுக்குத் தலைவன் ஆக கூப்பிடுறாங்க!''

• Dialogue praising Vijay when he steps into his father's shoes - "நீங்க Anna- வையே மிஞ்சிட்டிங்க". 

• Not only in the posters, the tag line "Time to Lead" is also expected to be deleted from the opening and end credits

Some of the scenes are expected to have survived the scissors such as the over zealous and far fetched scenes supporting Vijay's political aspirations and linkage to legendary world leaders. For e.g., Thalaivaa starts with the title credit showing notable leaders across the world Gandhi, Lenin, Karl Marx, Churchill, Martin Luther King, Mao Zedong, etc.
