We have recently reported that Jyothika's upcoming Tamil film Pon Magal Vandhal will have a direct OTT (Amazon Prime) release first and not in theatres. Now in Bollywood, the makers of Akshay Kumar's Laxmi Bomb is trying to adopt a similar way to have a release.

According to the reports, the makers of Laxmi Bomb had initiated the talks with OTT platforms to have a direct release. This move could be a game changer given the star power and the margin the film has. 

Laxxmi Bomb is the official remake of blockbuster Tamil movie ‘Kanchana’ directed by Raghava Lawrence, who played the lead role as well, With the choreographer-actor helming this remake, Akshay Kumar will be seen in lead role with Sanjay Dutt reported of performing the role essayed by Sarath Kumar in the original version.
