Actor Vikram's 58th film which was recently revealed to be titled Cobra, is currently being shot at Chennai and director of the film Ajay Gnanamuthu has announced that, the first look of the film will be released by the end of January, 2020. Post the title and motion poster reveal, the director also went on to state that Cobra has a direct link to Vikram's character in the film.

Before the first look release, team Cobra will begin its overseas schedule by mid-January, 2020 at Europe and Russia and the first look poster is most likely to reveal more interesting details about the movie. [The project announcement poster hinted at multiple looks for Vikram].

Produced by 7 Screen in association with Viacom 18, Cobra is scheduled for a release in Summer, 2020 and has A.R. Rahman for music. The film will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh among others.
