Singer, dubbing artiste Chinmayi Sripada who named lyricist Vairamuthu in MeToo accusations has reacted to him getting dropped from Mani Ratnam's upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan. Vairamuthu's inclusion to the project had irked a lot of people and both Mani Ratnam and A.R. Rahman had received severe backlash for the same.
Not to mention the disappointing @arrahman. Had this been a Hollywood movie, he would never have thought about working with him again

[The project at that time was not officially announced and the backlash followed Vairamuthu's declaration that he had already penned 12 songs for the film].
Ponniyin Selvan went on floors on December 10, 2019 in Thailand and when the official cast and crew was announced, Vairamuthu's name was missing from the list. And now, it is being widely reported that the lyricist has infact been replaced by his second son Kabilan Vairamuthu, who had openly supported his father during MeToo.
But no word from the production house twitter handle so far.

Chinmayi on the other hand has expressed her delight that the turmoil she underwent post MeToo revelations is finally getting closure. She took to twitter to write:
Last year, 8 women named Mr Vairamuthu. 3 weeks ago, I got one more from an upcoming singer which I didn’t share. So far I know more than 12 girls who have had similar issues with him.

A man continued to use his power, influence and contacts to lay his hands on young girls. pic.twitter.com/ds9lvFHwQk
I am in debt to those who have been a voice to all of us, joining in, asked and demanded questions.

Public pressure can change things.
That’s democracy.
No better time to remember that than now.
