Avengers Endgame which took a blockbuster opening across the globe had a superb feat at Chennai City Box Office. The film on its first day had grossed Rs.1.17 Cr (Including all the versions and Language).

With this the film had officially entered the all-time - top 10 grossed list of films at Chennai City.  Avengers is the only non-Tamil film to achieve this feat. Also this is highest day 1 grosser at Chennai City this year beating Rajinikanth's Petta which had grossed Rs. 1.12 Cr.
