Gully Boy with subtitles in TN & Puducherry!

 

Ever since CBFC came up with the rule of adding subtitles to a movie before censor or submitting a movie for re-censor post subtitling, many non-Tamil films which are releasing in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry have since released sans the translation. This has lead to many good movies being given a skip in movie theaters but the makers of the latest hit Gully Boy are ensuring that their film isn't one of those.

Theaters across TN and Puducherry have officially announced that staring today, the Zoya Akthar directed Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singhand Alia Bhatt will be screened with subtitles.

Gully Boy is currently in its second week of run and is about a Dharavi boy overcoming poverty and social obstacles to make an entry into the rapping world. The film went on to gain wide critical acclaim and has been doing quite well in terms of box-office as well.
