Rajini to play a cop in A.R. Murugadoss film?

 

If the ongoing buzz is anything to go by, then actor Rajinikanth who brought back his 'youth charm' in Petta is planning on continuing it for his next film with A.R. Murugadoss as well. Word also has it that this yet untitled film is an action thriller with a cop and a thief as main characters and Rajini will be seen playing the role of the cop.
 
Though there are no official confirmations to the same, director A.R. Murugadoss who was quick to shoot down the title rumours about his film  is yet to make a comment on the same. To be produced by Lyca Productions, this project was last in the news for considering Keerthy Suresh to play Rajini's heroine.
