It is a rare occasion when a single movie is paved the way for without any box-office competitors across languages in India and this is one such week. Shankar directed 2.0 which stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead is the only new release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages and it has little to no competition from its Hollywood counterparts.
2.0 (Tamil / Hindi / Telugu)
As mentioned in out review of the film, 2.0's story is about how a nature lover / protector names Pakshi Rajan (Pakshi Raja) unleashes horror over mankind, for their over-reliance on cell phones and technology which is in-turn causing the extinction of birds and animals. And it is upto Chitti and his minions to now protect the humans.
The film with its grandeur visuals and action sequences has seemed to impress both the critics and the audience alike, for the movie stands with a 70% aggregate in our movie ratings.
