Actor Rajinikanth's next with director Karthik Subbaraj, Petta has to be one of the fastest movies of the Superstar for the movie was announced, shot and is releasing within a span of 11 months. Petta is scheduled to hit theatre screens for Pongal, 2019 and proving that the film is very much on track, the audio release date of the film has now been revealed.
  
Petta will have its first single release on December 3, 2018 and its second song on December 7, 2018. The entire album will be out on December 9, 2018.

 
Petta is Rajinikanth's 165th film and has Anirudh Ravichander for music is produced by Sun Pictures. The movie has an ensemble cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Nawazuddin Siddique, Megha Akash, Malavika Mohanan, Sasikumar, Simran, Guru Somasundaram, Sanath Reddy and Munish Kanth among others.
