Superstar Rajinkanth's Kaala which hit the screens worldwide on June 7 is doing fantastic business across the globe. The film is set to cross the Rs. 150 crore mark soon. 

Kaala faced release issues in Karnataka as pro-Kannada outfits demanded a ban on the film stating that Rajinkanth's statement in regard to the Cauvery issue had hurt the sentiments of Kannadigas. The film after facing several controversies, finally released in Karnataka on June 8 with very limited release on Day 1 in few screens (June 7).
