The official trailer of Denzel Washington starrer The Equalizer 2, sequel to 2014's The Equalizer has been released. The sequel shows Washington reprise his role as a retired special-ops agent, only this time on a track to save a little girl who was kidnapped and avenge his best friend's death. Interestingly, this is the first time Denzel Washington has starred in a sequel and it is directed by Antoine Fuqua, who also directed the first film.
The Equalizer 2 is an updated film version of the 1980s TV series of the same name and also starrs Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders, Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo among others. The film hits theatre screens on July 20, 2018 and will be released by Sony Pictures International.
