Sivakarthikeyan's Kakki Sattai has set the box office on fire inspite of mixed talks and reviews. The opening collection of Kakki Sattai is considered to be the best ever for Sivakarthikeyan. The movie had netted Rs.13.34 crores in its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu.

Kakki Sattai, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Sridivya and Prabhu in the lead roles, is directed by Durai Senthil Kumar of Ethir Neechal fame. Music is by Anirudh. The movie is produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures distributed the movie.
