Sivakarthikeyan's Kakki Sattai is scheduled for Pongal 2015 release. The team had released an official poster confirming the movie's release date and with this announcement, Kakki Sattai joins the pongal race. Shankar's I, Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal, Vishal's Aambala are the other movies that are scheduled for Pongal 2015. 

Kakki Sattai stars Sivakarthikeyan and Sri Divya in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Durai Senthil of Ethirneechal fame. Music is by Anirudh. The audio of the movie will be released on December 12. The movie is produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. Escape Artists Motion Pictures Madan will be distributing the movie.
