FEFSI targets Thupaaki -- Shooting to be stalled
With Producers council and Film employees union(FEFSI) not reaching an agreement on employee salaries and other conditions, all movies shooting in Tamil Nadu have been stalled indefinitely. The problem is also appearing to spread its wings into neighboring states as FEFSI decided to target Thupaaki.
Thupaaki has been proceeding at bullet-speed with almost 33 days of shooting completed in one long schedule and second schedule expected to begin this week in Mumbai. Everybody involved were amazed to see such fast progress for a movie that involves so many leading technicians and star cast. But, FEFSI reached out to other film employees association requesting to not cooperate with Tamil movies shot in other states. This move is expected to directly impact the shooting of Thupaaki
This is seen by Industry as FEFSI putting pressure on SA Chandrashekar by hitting where it hurts.
