Gauthami & Kamal in Drishyam remake?

Kamal is currently busy shooting for Uttama Villain. The film shooting is in its final stages. After wrapping Uttama Villain Kamal will begin shoot for the Tamil remake of Malayalam blockbuster film Drishyam. Superstar Mohanlal starrer Drishyam directed by Jeethu Joseph, released during Christmas weekend last year. It has emerged as the biggest blockbuster in Mollywood.

Kamal Haasan will reprise the role of Mohanlal in the remake. Gauthami is likely to essay the role played by Meena in the original version. Many names including Meena, Simran and Nadiya were speculated for this role. The latest buzz is that Gauthami who has earlier worked with Kamal in Apoorva Sahodarargal, Thevar Magan, Kurudhipulal is being considered for the role. 

The film will be directed by  Jeethu Joseph who directed the original version. Ghibran has been roped in to score the music. The film will be produced by Suresh Balaji. Daggubati Venkatesh and Meena play the lead roles in the Telugu remake of Drishyam helmed by Sripriya.
