Advance bookings for Sivakarthikeyan starrer Madharaasi have officially opened, and in Bengaluru, Karnataka the first day first show (FDFS) starts as early as 6:30 AM. Within minutes of opening, bookings began trending hourly on BookMyShow (BMS), reflecting the high buzz around the film.

Madharaasi is a psychological action thriller written and directed by AR Murugadoss and releases on September 5, 2025. The Friday coincides with the last day of Onam, and possibly Milad-un-Nabi, aligning the film for a solid opening at the holiday box office. 

A production venture of Sri Lakshmi Movies, Madharaasi also stars Krithi Shetty, Biju Menon, Vidyut Jammwal, Vikranth, Shabeer Kallarakkal, among others, and has Anirudh Ravichander for music. The U/A censored Madharaasi is set to release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and in Hindi as Dil Madharaasi. The film's runtime is 167. 33 minutes.
