'Coolie': BTS Video of Monica Song Featuring Pooja Hegde and Soubin Shahir Released

Just as fans were enjoying the second single from ‘Coolie’, the team has now unveiled a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video of the song ‘Monica’. The original track, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, was released last Friday and quickly gained popularity, crossing millions of views online. The vibrant number features Pooja Hegde and Soubin Shahir dancing atop a massive vessel, joined by a large group of dancers.

In the BTS video, Pooja Hegde shared her thoughts on the song, saying, “When I heard the song, it had a little bit of modern twist and beat to it.” While she leads the performance with her usual elegance, it is Soubin Shahir’s unexpected energy and quirky dance moves that have surprised and impressed viewers. “I think he’s got a unique way of dancing, and only he can do it,” Pooja added.

Set on a dramatic cargo ship backdrop, ‘Monica’ is quickly becoming a standout track from the film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Coolie’ stars Rajinikanth in the lead and features a powerhouse ensemble including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, and Monisha Blessy. The film also includes a special appearance by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan.
