Actor Sivakarthikeyan's 25th film is titled Parasakthi, confirmed an official announcement from the makers. Parasakthi title teaser unveils Sivakarthikeyan as a revolutionary college student in vintage Tamil Nadu, alongside Atharvaa who plays a hot-headed student, Sreeleela, a Teluguite, and Jayam Ravi as the villain who is after Sivakarthikeyan's character. 

Written and directed by Sudha Kongara, Parasakthi is based on the 1965 anti-Hindi agitation by revolutionary college students in real life Tamil Nadu. Parasakthi is produced by Dawn Pictures, and has GV Prakash Kumar for music,  Ravi K Chandran for cinematography, Supreme Sundar for stunts, and Sathish Surya for edits.

Red Giant Movies is releasing Parasakthi in Tamil Nadu. The film's satellite rights are with the Kalaignar TV Tamil channel. Parasakthi is scheduled to release in Tamil, Telugu languages.
