One of the most prevalent brickbat the Suriya starrer Kanguva received on day 1 of its release, was how loud the film was in theaters. Fingers were pointed to factors like the high quality 3D conversion, and Telugu music composer Devi Sri Prasad's 'noisy' background score. 

Kanguva producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green productions, has now stated that he has taken this feedback into account. Gnanavel Raja has also said that he has asked all exhibitors to reduce the volume by two points in theaters, to tackle this complaint.

The Studio Green head estimates that the Kanguva volume issue will be fixed by November 15, 2024 evening or November 16, 2024. Written and directed by Siva, Kanguva stars actor Suriya in dual roles. The movie is Suriya's first theatrical release in the last 3 years.
