The mega viral hit Hukum combo i.e. Superstar Rajinikanth, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and lyricist Super Subu, are reuniting once again, this time for the first single of Vettaiayan. Earlier today, Lyca Productions and Anirudh officially announced the arrival of the first Vettaiyan song, which is either titled Manasilayo (Malayalam word for Do you understand?) or Hunter Vantaar (Tamil phrase for Hunter has come). 

While an official word on Vettaiyan first single release date is awaited, it is now being said that the team has roped in Super Subu for the lyrics of this Vettaiyan song. It is worth mentioning here that similar to Manasilayo, Super Subu penned Hukum song had a Telugu phrase as an adlib in it, which went Ardhamaayindha Raja (translates to Do you understand child?). 

It remains to be seen which singers have lent their voices to the Vettaiyan first single. Vettaiyan releases in theaters on October 10, 2024 (Thursday) for Dussehra this year.

[September 9, 2024: Update] It has now been officially confirmed that Vettaiyan first single Manasilaayo, has lyrics by both Vishnu Edavan and Super Subu. Super Subu took to X on Sunday to spell out the lyrics from the Manasilaayo glimpse, which came ahead of the full song's release on Monday.
