Back in November, 2023 actor Suriya had a narrow escape from a major accident while wrapping the shooting portions of Kanguva, his upcoming big budget movie with director Siva. While filming an action scene, one of the manually operated rope cameras endured a cut, and headed towards Suriya. But the actor noticed it right in time to move, enduring only a contusion on his shoulder.

Weeks after rest, Suriya was back to filming and now the star has updated that the Kanguva last shot is done. Kanguva is a career high-budget film for Suriya, and the film plans to release in 38 languages across the globe.

The movie is said to come with a mix realism and fantasy, and also stars Disha Patani, Bobbly Deol in their Tamil film debut. Kanguva has Devi Sri Prasad for music and is a production venture of Studio Green.
