MovieCrow had previously reported that the multi-starrer cast of Rajinikanth's upcoming film Thalaivar 170 includes names like Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil among others. All three names have now been officially confirmed to be part of the film's cast; Latest to be revealed in Lyca Productions' series of updates is the Mollywood powerhouse performer Fahadh Faasil. 

Written and directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim (2021) fame, Thalaivar 170 is all set to begin shooting this Month in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The movie has Anirudh for music and also stars Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh among others. 

Malayalam star Fahadh enjoys quite the following in Tamil Nadu, and off late the actor's Tamil audience has increased with films like Vikram (2022) and Maamannan (2023). With Thalaivar 170, FaFa (as he is affectionately known) will be sharing screen space with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth for the first time in his career.

Buzz has it that while Rajinikanth plays a Muslim police officer dedicated to combatting false encounters, Fahadh Faasil plays the villain in Thalaivar 170.
