Cult hit 7G Rainbow Colony (2004) - a heart wrenching romantic drama written and directed by Selvaraghavan, is gearing up for a sequel. Word of 7G Rainbow Colony 2 has lingered for a while now, and latest we hear the movie is all set to begin shooting from August, 2023. 

7G Rainbow Colony 2 will reunite director Selvaraghavan with his lead actor Ravi Krishna, who was last seen in the Tamil movie Aaranya Kaandam (2011). Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is also returning for the film's music. While the female lead cast isn't finalized, actress Aditi Shankar and Ivana are said to be in consideration.
