Selvaraghavan has done it again! Selvaraghavan's direction and attention to details is what makes 7 G Rainbow Colony different. The sound, however, leaves much to be desired, what with every blow sounding like a thunderclap! Selvaraghavan has once again displayed his skill making a movie that is touching without being mushy, and believable because of its realism. (more)

Very Good

Straight off the bat, Selvaraghavan’s 7-G Rainbow Colony is a well-crafted movie which will stay in our hearts for a long, long time. Undoubtedly the film belongs to Sonia Agarwal. She is self assured and blends into the character which has been well-etched out by the director. The soothing background score and music of Yuvan is an added advantage for the film. On the down side the film is too lengthy and needs trimming.(more)

Daring and different

A realistic portrayal of characters is the highlight of the movie. With able support from Yuvan Shankar Raja and the cinematographer, Selvaraghavan has succeeded in leaving a lasting impression in 7G. A few dialogues, which one may find hard to digest, and a lengthy climax are the handicaps for the smooth flow of the movie. Selvaraghavan deserves praise for trying out an unconventional theme and pulling it off with elan.(more)
