Vidaa Muyarchi is actor Ajith's 62^nd film that was officially announced by Lyca Productions earlier this month. The movie marks a first time collaboration between Ajith Kumar and directed Magizh Thirumeni of Thadam (2019) fame. Even before Magizh Thirumeni came on board, actress Trisha was linked to AK 62, but the previously planned project (with director Vignesh Shivan) did not take off. 

Now it is being said that Trisha who has worked with Magizh Thirumeni in Maeghamann (2014) is reuniting with the director after a decade. If on board, Vidaa Muyarchi will also mark the reunion of Ajith and Trisha after Yennai Arindhaal  (2015), Mankatha (2011), Kreedam (2007) and Ji (2005). 

Vidaa Muyarchi is expected to begin shooting by second week of June, 2023 and wrap by this year end. The movie is planning on a Summer, 2024 release according to recent buzz. It is worth mentioning here that actor Vijay's recently announced Thalapathy 68, is also  buzzed to be eyeing Summer 2024 release in April.
