The first look of Maamannan, which is a Mari Selvaraj directorial was unveiled last night and the poster featured an intimidating Vadivelu and Udhayanidhi Stalin, each holding a gun and an assault sword respectively. Both actors were seated on a high podium indicating power play being a major theme of the movie.

Maamannan produced by Red Giant Movies is touted to be Udhayanidhi Stalin's final acting gig, now that the actor is an MLA and intends to continue full-time into politics. Maamannan also stars Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh in key roles and has AR Rahman for music. 

As reported previously, Maamannan first look poster officially confirms that the film is scheduled for a June release this year. It remains to be seen if the film comes out for Bakrid on June 29, 2023. Maamannan's technical crew also includes Theni Eswar for cinematography, Yugabharathi for lyrics, Sandy for choreography and Selva for edits. Also see: Maamannan second look
