Agilan is an upcoming action drama starring Jayam Ravi in the lead, and the movie is all set to release in theaters on March 10, 2023. Agilan Trailer was launched over the weekend with a grand event and Jayam Ravi who was present in a new look for another film, made waves with his speech about actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan.

Pradeep Ranganathan debuted with the Jayam Ravi starrer Comali in 2019 and rose to fame with his self-directed acting debut Love Today (2022). Pradeep was present at the Agilan trailer launch event to show solidarity for Jayam Ravi's new film and while thanking the filmmaker for the same, Jayam Ravi said,

"Pradeep..I too feel like cheering for him in the loudest of my voice. When I see Pradeep's growth, i feel yes (does victory thump) ..Because before all of you I was able to spot his talent and say 'he is a powerful one, he'll go places'. I have that happiness (of spotting him first). Everyone's saying that I introduced him. But that isn't a big word at all.

 

Hello this is Pradeep, Hi - This is all there is to introduction. i didn't invent Pradeep. He himself climbed up the ladder using his own talent. I just gave a minor introduction saying, see this is Pradeep, come watch (his work). I didn't do anything. He is a talented, he's intelligent. Even at the success meet of Comali, I had said that the producer had given gold to everyone but to me he has given platinum (referring to Pradeep). 

 

So I'll always have that affection towards him. I'll be loudly cheering like this. I wish he does all good films and uses his indivual talent, which not everyone is blessed with."
