Digital rights of some major upcoming Tamil biggies have been bagged by the same streaming platform, and an official announcement on the same has been coming out all day today. After AK 62, Netflix has confirmed that it has bagged the OTT rights to Dhanush starrer Sir/Vaathi and 'Chiyaan' Vikram starrer Thangalaan. 

Sir/Vaathi is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual that is scheduled to release in theaters on February 17, 2023 [Friday]. The movie will stream on Netflix post its theatrical run. Same is the case with Thangalaan directed by Pa. Ranjith, which is currently in the process of being filmed.
