As reported multiple times by MovieCrow recently and in the past, it has now been officially announced that actor Ajith's Thunivu will release on January 11, 2023 [Wednesday]. Thunivu producer took to twitter to confirm the date, just a week ahead of the film's Pongal clash-in-the-waiting with Vijay's Varisu. 

Thunivu is a heist action drama that has been certified an U/A by the censor board in India. The film's FDFS timing is expected to be confirmed when advance bookings open in Tamil Nadu, and its runtime is said to be 2 hours 25 minutes and 48 seconds [145.48 minutes]. 

Written and directed by H. Vinoth, Thunivu also stars Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Prem, Ajay, Bucks, GM Sundar, Mohana Sundaram, Bala Saravanan, Amir, Pavani Reddy, Ciby Bhuvana Chandran among others.
