Selvaraghavan directed Naane Varuvean starring Dhanush in the lead is gearing up for its first teaser release this evening [out now], and at this time producer Thanu has hyped the expectations for the movie. Speaking to a Tamil Youtube media channel, Thanu said,

"You would have never seen a villain like this in movies before. Following Naane Varuvean, the villain character may become a trendsetter. Dhanush has given an extraordinary performance and it definitely will be revisited many times.."  

Interestingly Naane Varuvean is also penned by Dhanush. He plays a dual role in this déjà vu thriller and is the first movie of Selvaraghavan that isn't the director's own script. Nevertheless Thanu is confident of the producers the filmmaker will attract post Naane Varuvean. He said,

"Selvaraghavan will be swarmed by producers post Naane Varuvean. That's why I have told Selvaraghavan to do another movie for me before he becomes in-demand," 

 

Naane Varuvean is expected to hit theater screens on September 29, 2022 and has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music.
