Suriya 42 (tentative title) is an upcoming Suriya starrer with director Siva which went on floors with a pooja ceremony last Sunday. It was officially announced today that the movie produced by Studio Green and UV Creations has begun shooting. Stills from last weekend's event were also unveiled and the same can be seen here:

Touted to be a period action entertainer, Suriya 42 is scheduled to release in 10 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The film's technical crew includes Devi Sri Prasad for music, Vetri Palanisamy for cinematography, Milan for art direction, Supreme Sundar for stunts, Adi Narayana for writing and Madan Karky for lyrics.

Disha Patani is said to be playing female lead in the movie, which is also expected to have its first video release soon. After Chennai, Suriya 42 will be filmed at Goa for 25 days beginning mid-September, 202
