Actor Karthi starrer rural entertainer Viruman released in theaters worldwide today. Among the reviews that have been flowing in for the film, a common point-out has been that Yuvan Shankar Raja's score for the Viruman title card and intro scene closely resembles composer Anirudh's background score for Vijay's opening scene (JD Intro) from the 2021 Tamil film Master.
#Viruman - Usual Muthaiyah template film. Decent 1st half followed by a below avg 2nd half. Karthi looks superb. Yuvan songs good but bgm copied from master. Repetitive scenes makes screenplay draggy. Will be a sure shot in B and C centres.

However the JD intro BGM itself closely resembles one of Yuvan composed songs titled Jalsa, from the 2007 Tamil movie Chennai 600028.
For your kind information, Master Intro BGM was inspired by Yuvan's Jalsa song interlude from Chennai 600028! What's wrong with Yuvan re-using his own works?!
