Gargi is an upcoming courtroom drama starring Sai Pallavi in the lead and the movie is all set to hit theater screens tomorrow i.e. July 15, 2022 in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. A sneak peek video of the film, written and directed by Gautham Ramachandran of Richie fame has been unveiled and Sai Pallavi's teacher character can be seen in an intense dialogue scene from the film.

The video also reveals the background of the story in a nut-shell; Gargi and her Tuticorin-based family have been living in Chennai for about 8 years and she works as a school teacher. Her father gets implicated in a sexual assault case and with very limited means, Gargi embarks on a fight for justice.

Early reviews for the movie have lauded Gargi as one of the best Tamil films to come out this year. Actor Kali Venkat who plays a lawyer with quirks, music composer Govind Vasantha have also been praised highly alongside the movie's lead and director.
