Recently, the makers of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual Prince announced that the movie's release has been pushed from Vinayagar Chathurthi in August to Diwali in October, 2022. Latest we hear, plans are on for Prince to release on October 21, 2022 (Friday), three days ahead of Diwali day which falls on a Monday i.e. October 24, 2022. 

Prince also stars Maria Ryaboshapka, Sathyaraj among others and is written and directed by KV Anudeep.  Sri Venkateswara Films LLP, Shanthi Talkies and Suresh Productions have bankrolled the movie and its technical crew includes SS Thaman for music and Manoj Paramahansa for cinematography.
