A laugh-out-loud skit video featuring Sivakarthikeyan, actress Maria Ryaboshapka, writer director Anudeep and actor Sathyaraj was unveiled to announce the new release plans of their upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual Prince. The movie which was previously scheduled to hit theaters screens for Vinayagar Chathurthi on August 31, 2022 will now release for Diwali in October, 2022. 

An official release date is expected to be confirmed close to the movie's release. Sri Venkateswara Films LLP, Shanthi Talkies and Suresh Productions have bankrolled Prince and the film's technical crew includes SS Thaman for music and Manoj Paramahansa for cinematography.
