Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram is an action thriller written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj that released in theaters on June 3, 2022 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. The movie is currently in its third week of run in cinemas and at this time, it has been revealed that Vikram has created a record at the Tamil Nadu box-office. 

On day 14 i.e. June 16, 2022 (Thursday), Vikram became the highest grossing film in Tamil Nadu surpassing the likes of Baahubali: The Conclusion. Additionally, Vikram also became the movie with the highest all time share in the first two weeks in the state; The movie has yielded a whopping Rs. 75 Cr+ in distributor share and the record for overall share in Tamil Nadu currently stands at Rs. 83 Cr+.

Given Vikram is still going strong in theaters, the movie's share could very well match the highest record number currently held by Vijay's Master. Vikram is a Raaj Kamal Films International production and was distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The film has music by Anirudh and also stars Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi among others.
