Nimirndhu Nil starring Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul in the lead roles is directed by Samuthirakani. The film is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Nani and Amala Paul play the lead roles in the Telugu version titled 'Janda Pai Kapiraju'. The film is produced by Vasan Visual Ventures.

Jayam Ravi plays a dual role in the film- one of a 45-year-old man and the other of a 25-year-old. The film will be a high voltage action packed entertainer which sees the actor as a revolutionist for a social cause.
