Actor Vijay starrer hostage thriller Beast released in theaters today on April 13 and three Chennai based companies and one Nellai based firm turned heads, by announcing that they have declare a holiday in lieu of the same. Sharing similar official announcements, B Tree, Aaraa Informatics and KnitBrain International said that they have 'decided to declare April 13, 2022 an official holiday to avoid piled up leave request to the HR department'.

Digi Nadu, a Tirunelveli based marketing firm took 30 of it employees to a Beast show in addition to giving them half-a-day off from work. Nautone, another Chennai based start-up offered free tickets to its employers.

This aside, an Erode based electronic company is said to have put up a 'Veera Raghavan' statute worth Rs. 4 lakh at its entrance. Veera Raghavan is the name of Vijay's character in Beast and he portrays the role of a RAW agent/spy. Reportedly the statue has been put up for people to click pictures with it.
