The shooting of Dhanush's upcoming movie Naane Varuven has wrapped and the actor announced the same with an image of his from the filming spot. Dhanush also announced that the movie is gearing up for a release soon.

Directed by Selvaraghavan, Naane Varuven is touted to be an action thriller and stars Dhanush in dual roles, one of them being a character with negative shades. Indhuja Ravichandran, Yogi Babu and Elli Avram, who made her Tamil debut with the 2021 Kajal Aggarwal starrer Paris Paris, will be seen in supporting roles in the film.
