Ajith starrer Valimai had its OTT release on Zee 5 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada on March 25, 2022 and according to the streaming service, has been attracting a large number of viewers. Valimai's Malayalam version is now being added to the mix, which producer Boney Kapoor has said is a move done on public demand.

Valimai Malayalam version will premiere on April 1, 2022 i.e. tomorrow on Zee 5. An action thriller, Valimai follows the story of an IPS officer from Madurai who goes after an outlawed biker gang involved in theft, murder and drug networking.

The movie is directed by H. Vinoth and also stars Huma Qureshi, Karthikeya Gummakonda among others.
