The trailer of KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash was released on Sunday and within 24 hours of its relese, the video has garnered 109 million plus views in multiple languages. The view-count break-up in each language was officially released and they are as follows:

• Kannada: 18M
• Telugu: 20M
• Hindi: 51M
• Malayalam: 8M

KGF: Chapter 2 is the second installment to the 2018 Kannada film KGF: Chapter 1 and is scheduled for release on April 14, 2022. The trailer shows Rocky (Yash) as a powerful businessman in the gold mining industry who gets involved in a feud with a politician (Raveena Tandon) and also has to face a foe named Adheera (Sanjay Dutt).

KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and follows the events that occur after the death of the villain Garuda at the hands of Yash's Rocky in the first part. The movie is produced by Hombale Films.
