Mass Overloaded!
Apart from a few lows that exist in the first half, the film is such an entertaining and an emotional roller coaster ride filled with goosebumps. Great vision and conviction by director Prashanth Neel that has made way for a solid theatrical experience.(more)

A brutal tale of raw machismo and a hint at a third chapter
The film belongs as much to filmmaker Prashanth Neel as it does to Yash. Both of them have managed to deliver a sequel that seems more immersive than the first part. Albeit, Prashanth has always maintained that the second part had the bigger chunk of his original story when they decided to break it into two parts.(more)

Yash and Sanjay Dutt steal the show in this terrific action flick
Prashanth Neel's KGF: Chapter 2 is replete with 'mass' moments not just for Yash but also for Sanjay Dutt. These scenes are aplenty and come at frequent intervals only to get us hyped up for what's about to come. With Sanjay Dutt, Prashanth found a menacing villain, who has an equal weightage as the hero.(more)

Yash Struts Through Battering Ram Of A Movie With Undisguised Glee
K.G.F. Chapter 2 is one uninterrupted, ear-splitting drone that lasts all of three hours. If your brain survives the onslaught, chances of your eardrums remaining unscathed are slim. The film allows itself absolutely no breathing space either in terms of pacing or with regard to what it piles up on the soundtrack.(more)

Too much sound, a lot of fury, little impact
The trouble with films busy working on their look is that they forget about plotting. The film swings haphazardly between the past, which shows us Rocky's devotion towards his mother (Archana Jois), and the present, in which he swings between being a saviour and the guy who cracks the whip and roars at the workers to never stop working. Good guy compelled to do bad things by dint of circumstance, or bad guy with a golden heart? Not for us to make too fine a point on that faint distinction because as far as KGF 2 goes, Rocky is no 'gangster', only the 'Master who enters and conquers'.(more)

Chapter Two improves on its predecessor: it is an epic times two.
KGF: Chapter Two, along with the opening and closing imagery. But I didn't mind. The action and the masala flavour and the precision of the cuts are fantastic, and even if the story arc feels familiar, the denseness from the screenplay/editing makes it all seem new.(more)
