Sun Pictures has now officially announced that their upcoming production Beast starring Vijay in the lead will be releasing in theaters worldwide on April 13, 2022. MovieCrow had previously reported that Beast is releasing a day ahead of the Tamil New year to avoid opening day clash with KGF: Chapter 2.

Beast has been censored with an U/A and yesterday the CBFC site crashed after a overwhelming number of Vijay fans tried to acess the censor details of the movie. Beast is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and comes with a run-time of 2 hours 25 minutes 38 seconds i.e. 155. 38 minutes.
