Producer Boney Kapoor, director H. Vinoth and actor Ajith Kumar are all set to reunite for the third time in a row, and this project tentatively titled Ajith 61 has recently been buzzed to go on floors soon. The Boney-Vinoth-Ajith trio had previously collaborated on the court room drama Nerkonda Paarvai (remake of Pink) and their upcoming Valimai is one of the most anticipated movies in Tamil cinema this year. 

Ajith 61 or AK 61 is also expected to tackle social issues and while Valimai is an action thriller, AK 61 will be more of an emotional drama. Another latest update on the movie suggests that composer Ghibran has been brought on-board for the film's music. Ghibran had formerly worked with H. Vinoth's sophomore film Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017).
