Actor Vikram's upcoming movie Mahaan is a gangster thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj which is touted to be releasing directly on Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. Previously we had reported that the movie is expected to premiere during the Pongal weekend but latest we hear, Mahaan's release is scheduled for January, 2022 end.

Word also has it that the trailer of Mahaan will be out for New Year i.e. January 1, 2022. Mahaan is said to revolve around Vikram's titular character and Dada, the young protagonist played by Dhruv Vikram. The movie also stars Vani Bhojan, Simran, Bobby Simha among others and has Santhosh Narayanan for music.

The 7 Screen Studio produced movie is said to have cleared censor with an U/A. All of these updates currently await official announcement.
