Actor Sivakarthikeyan may soon join the coveted Rs. 100 Cr. club, all thanks to the phenomenal run of his last release Doctor at the box-office. The movie is running on packed shows and even with only 50% occupancy in most regions it released, Doctor has become the highest grossing film of Sivakarthikeyan's career.

The film released to the Tamil and Telugu market on October 9 and in Kerala on October 27 and so far the worldwide gross collection of the movie is pegged at Rs. 96. 8 Cr. With Doctor gearing up for a satellite premiere on Sun TV this November 3, and OTT premiere on Sun Nxt, Netflix on November 5, it remains to be seen if the movie will end up collecting Rs. 100 Cr. in gross by then.

It is worth mentioning here that Doctor has already surpassed Sivakarthikeyan's previous best grosser Velaikkaran (2017), which had made Rs. 87 Cr. in lifetime collections.
