Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor released in theaters on October 9, 2021 and the box-office response to the movie has been spectacular in Tamil Nadu. All centers seem to be happy with the performance of the film and in the first 6 days alone, Doctor collected close to Rs. 40 Cr. in gross worldwide, turning the film into a complete blockbuster. 

With the ongoing pooja holidays and packed shows across theaters for the film, Doctor movie is expected to finish the weekend at Rs. 50 Cr. collection in gross.
