Silambarasan TR had his red-card issue cleared today which was posing an impedance in the shooting of his upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The actor went on to update later that he had begun the second schedule of the movie, which is produced by Ishari K Ganesh and directed by Gautham Menon.

Simbu has one more film with Vels Film International titled Corona Kumar, which is a sequel to the 2013 hit movie Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (IAB). Reportedly the actor will begin shooting for the same on September 25, 2021, 20 days after he begins his other project Pathu Thala. 

Corona Kumar is written and directed by IAB's Gokul, and Vijay Sethupathi who played the lead in the first movie will make a special appearance in the second.
