Actor Gautham Karthik who plays a cop in the upcoming Tamil movie Pathu Thala has begun shooting for the same today. A remake of the 2017 Kannada hit Mufti, Pathu Thala originally began with Mufti director Nathan but is being reshot now with director Obeli N Krishna due to production delays.

Actor Silambarasan TR who plays a gangster in the movie will join filming in September. Pathu Thala is produced by Studio Green and also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar in a lead role. The movie has A.R. Rahman for music.
